Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Monday Morning app (the “App”), operated by Monday Morning Bottle Shop, LLC (“we,” “us,” “Monday Morning”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Who can use the App

You must be 18 or older. The App contains content about alcohol use and sobriety that isn't appropriate for minors. By creating an account, you confirm you're 18+.

What you can do

You can use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes: track your own moment, post Voices to the community, connect with friends, use the drink finder, and use any other feature we make available. You can use the App for free for as long as we offer it for free.

What you can't do

Don't do any of these:

• Use the App to harm, harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Post content that's hateful, sexually explicit, or glorifies alcohol or drug use.
• Scrape, copy, or republish other users' content (Voices, journal entries, etc.).
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to abuse the App or its AI features.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code beyond what we've open-sourced.
• Sell, sub-license, or rent your account.
• Use the App in any way that violates US law or the laws of your jurisdiction.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you do any of these. In serious cases (threats, abuse) we'll act immediately.

Your content

You own the content you create (Voices, journal entries, photos, etc.). By posting to public surfaces (currently: Voices), you grant us a limited license to display that content to other App users. You can delete your own posts anytime. If you delete your account, your content is removed except where retained in de-identified aggregate community stats.

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms. Voices posts run through an automated moderation check before publishing.

Not medical or legal advice

The App is a tool for community and self-reflection. It is not medical advice, mental health advice, addiction treatment, or legal advice. The Steady chat feature is an AI assistant trained on a sobriety-supportive tone, not a therapist. The drink finder recommends non-alcoholic products from a catalog, not a substance use treatment plan.

If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (US Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. If you've been drinking heavily and want to stop, talk to a doctor first — abrupt cessation can be medically dangerous.

AI features

The App uses Anthropic's Claude AI for the Steady chat, drink finder, and content moderation. AI responses can be wrong, unhelpful, or unintentionally insensitive. Use your own judgment. We don't guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

Availability

We try to keep the App available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uptime. We may take the App down for maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime from the Profile page. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

The App is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, Monday Morning Bottle Shop, LLC and its team disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD $100 or the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the “last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify you in the App or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new Terms.
