Privacy Policy
Last updated May 29, 2026
This is the privacy policy for the Monday Morning app (the “App”), operated by Monday Morning Bottle Shop, LLC, a California limited liability company based in San Diego.
What we collect
When you use the App, we collect the following:
- Account info: your email address (for sign-in) and the name you choose to display.
- Profile data:optional photo, tone preference, drinks-per-week and cost-per-drink baselines (used to calculate “reclaimed” numbers), and your auto-generated friend code.
- Your moment: the type of moment you choose (day, week, month, lifetime, custom), its label, and its start date.
- Daily activity: mood selections, reflections, journal entries, habits and their completion logs, hard-day flags, and Hard-Day SOS messages.
- Community activity: Voices posts you write (visible to other signed-in users), friend connections, cheers sent and received, gratitude group memberships and posts.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device info, and basic logs from our hosting providers.
How we use it
We use your data to run the App: sign you in, keep your data safe, show you your own activity, connect you with friends you've added, surface community Voices, and personalize your moment tracking. We use aggregated, de-identified stats to show community-level numbers like “days reclaimed” on the dashboard.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the App. We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Supabase— our database and authentication provider. Your account and content live here.
- Vercel— our web hosting provider.
- Anthropic— powers the Steady chat, drink finder, and content moderation features. When you use those features, the text of your messages or posts is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic does not train its models on this data per their API terms.
- Resend— sends our transactional emails (sign-in codes, milestone notifications).
- Shopify— we read the Monday Morning Bottle Shop catalog for the drink finder. No user data is sent to Shopify.
We do not sell your data. We do not run ad targeting. We do not share your identifiable data with advertisers, brokers, or other commercial third parties.
What's public, what's private
By default, your profile is private. Other users can't find you unless you share your friend code or you toggle on the “public profile” option in Settings. Even with a public profile, your journal entries, reflections, mood logs, and SOS messages are never visible to anyone but you and your chosen friends.
Voices posts are visible to any signed-in user of the App. Don't post anything you wouldn't want the community to read.
Your rights
You can:
- View and edit your data from inside the App.
- Request an export of your data by emailing us.
- Delete your account from the Profile page. Deletion removes your account, profile, journal entries, moments, mood logs, Voices posts, friend connections, cheers, and SOS data. Aggregated community stats (e.g., total days reclaimed) are kept in de-identified form.
- Opt out of any non-essential notifications.
Children
The App is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a user is under 18, contact us and we will remove the account.
Crisis and medical disclaimer
The App is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. If you have been drinking heavily and want to stop, talk to a doctor first — abrupt cessation can be medically dangerous.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top tells you when. For material changes, we'll notify you in the App or by email before they take effect.
